We've been taught to do almost anything but feel. To fix the discomfort, reframe it, breathe it away, or numb it with whatever's closest. But the emotions we refuse to feel don't leave — they just accumulate in our gut, and disable our gut feelings.
This practice teaches the opposite skill: the strength to feel.
This is the most significant part of balancing Moon energy - our emotional world, and our capacity to process what moves through it. Processing an emotion doesn't mean fixing it, healing it, or making it go away. It means giving it space and your honest attention, and letting it be exactly what it is.
The more able you are to stay with your pain, the more able you become to feel your joy. This is where real inner strength is built.
